This will be my last one, then after that I will just re do either Seth, Teto or Maria here.

Personality

A bit scared of new people, but warms up quickly to men who look like her father. She listens to orders better than any kid her age usually does, but she does have a tendency to dance in place while she waits for things. She’ll respect anyone older and taller than her, but if you are shorter, she has a hard time believing you are older than her. Besides that, she is your average little child with magical powers~

Back-story

Born into a very low class family; though her mother and father were happy, they were having a hard time feeding all three of them. In desperation her father joined a cult that promised to take care of both him and his family. He came in as a healer/doctor for the group and tended to the wounds and illnesses of many cultist members. Maria was three at the time her father joined the cult, her mother not agree to this one bit, but after a while the cult grew on them and the members seemed nicer than what people made them out to be. When Maria was five, her mother began to train the child in magic and sorcery just like how her mother taught her. The child had a knack and skill of this dark art and soon mastered the basics and quickly rose to the same level as her mother by the age of 8. It was around this time that her mother mysteriously disappeared and her father seemed to care and keep Maria always by his side. Maria didn’t understand what was going on, but enjoyed the extra attention her father was giving her. On nights her father would get upset he would strike out at the child and become depressed from harming his precious little girl. Maria would always forgive him and then ask where Mama was and he only responded with a sad frown and a tight hug, telling her “I don’t know…”

The years went on and his little girl grew up, learning more magic from the other cultist families, soon even surpassing the leader in magic. Unfortunately she had never been in a fight and never had to use her powers on the fly like that, so when she was 11 and the Cultist leader came up to her attacking her, she froze and screamed, easily getting knocked out and ready to be sacrificed. Her father had never converted to their faith, it wasn’t part of the agreement, but this time around, he was summoned to help with a ritual to their god, Pit Lord Korgannoth. As the ritual went underway, he couldn’t help but look at the body laid in the center and notice how still alive it was. He began to ask questions and soon Maria woke up and broke free of her binds. Enraged her father began attacking the nearest cultist trying to throw the ritual off, but it was already done. The last thing Maria remembers was the circle around her lighting on fire and a sharp pain on the left side of her face.

When she woke up, she felt cool waves hitting her skin and she lifted her head to see a strange island, the left side of her world covered in darkness and something from the nearby trees staring at her, the sounds of hungry beasts filling her ears…

Extra info

She has a tattoo on the left side of her face. It is the mark the cult of Pit Lord Korgannoth gives to their sacrifices. The tattoo allows demons to easily pin point her and attack her, plus it won’t allow her eye to heal until it is removed; removing the tattoo means that you have to kill the one who placed it on her in the first place.
